Home Ground Traineeship
Home Ground is a youth training cafe providing on-the-job training and employment pathways for young people in the Tanti Park community and the Mornington Peninsula. Taking on up to 10 trainees at a time, HG equips our trainees with a variety of hard and soft skills and learnings which help trainees to gain future employment in the hospitality sector. Our traineeship covers everything from customer service to food handling, taking orders and pouring coffee, leadership and initiative, and even how to prepare a resume and present for work. HG trainees are equipped with the skills they need to tackle any hospo job. Trainees not only gain practical and hands on experience, but also build confidence in their abilities and are more prepared to make decisions and take ownership of their direction in life.
Our traineeships run three times a year.
